‘Justice for Women’ Project

Access to effective justice is a fundamental right guaranteed in many documents in the universal human rights protection system. Preventing discrimination against women and ensuring gender equality are important components of this right. Ensuring equal access to justice for women and girls is one of the priority areas of the Council of Europe’s Gender Equality Strategy 2024-2029. This includes the effective implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (Istanbul Convention).

DIGITAL CHILD PROJECT

The 'Digital Child Project' implemented by the Association for the Prevention and Rehabilitation of Violence was implemented in August 2023 - February 2024 within the scope of the Child Rights Center (ICC) Micro-Fund Program with the support of the European Union. It is aimed to raise awareness of children and adults about harmful content that can be experienced with digitalization and to increase their capacity to use digital tools more effectively and reliably. In the age of digitalization, 15 hours of training consisting of 5 sessions for children and 9 hours of training consisting of 3 sessions for adults were completed in order to improve the skills of children and adults to consciously follow the developments in the field of information and communication and to increase their awareness of cyber threats they may be exposed to. Within the scope of the trainings, 68 children and 72 adults between the ages of 12-18 were directly reached.
